If you are using Windows as native Operating System on a Macintosh machine, you'll have realised that the Ma partition is not readable from Windows.
That's one of the main disadvantages of the native installation against the virtualization of the operating system using VMWare Fusion or Parallels.
HFSExplorer is an interesting application developed on Java which allows us to read Mac-formatted hard disks and disk images.
It can read the file systems HFS (Mac OS Standard), HFS (Mac OS Extended) and HFSX (Mac OS Extended with case sensitive file names) including system files.
If you have different partitions, HFSExplorer includes a tool to detect HFS files and deal with them.
With no doubt, the most interesting features are the ones to extract any file from the Mac partition and the one to open UDIF image disks (also known as .dmg files)
